PappaRich, Park Street, Colombo, Sri LankaSLNC/ OWSD had its first ever Executive Edge Program with the founder member SLNC/ OWSD, Senior Professor of Botany, Former Vice Chancellor to the University of Colombo, Former Ambassador to France, First women chair to the UGC, Prof. Kshanika Hiruburegama on the 19th of October 2023 at PappaRich, Park Street.
This evening was designed to give an insight of focusing on the country specific development of the STEM field and scientist’s role in the economic development of the country. Prof Hiruburegama shared her experience in STEM education, development of entrepreneur opportunities to the women into the STEM and community empowerment of Women into STEM field for income generation. She further explained, how work and life should balance in the STEM career throughout.
