Administration
Teaching
I have a reputation in my current department as a skilled teacher, and have a place at the table when curriculum changes are discussed. Therefore, I got an opportunity to develop a new syllabus for a new course (Applications of Computational Chemistry), which will be introduced to the upcoming new undergraduate degree curriculum. Because of my capabilities in university administration, I was appointed as the Coordinator, National Glass Blowing Center, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (November 2021 – Present), Coordinator, MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (April 2022 – Present), Senior Treasurer of Chemical Society, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (November 2022 – October 2023) and Departmental Coordinator in the Corporate Plan Monitoring Committee, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (September 2021 – Present).
